Fans of "Mad Men"!

What vacuum do you think Betty would use in her new mansion? My guess is easy: Kirby.

How about Don's new wife Megan, in their fashionable Park Avenue apartment? (That is, IF she didn't have a maid.) I'd guess she'd want something a little more modern, but top of the line. I'd guess the newest Electrolux.

Peggy (despite during her early apartment days borrowing her mother's Electrolux, even schlepping it on the subway to and from work) strikes me as the classic Hoover Convertible type of gal.

We've already seen Joan has a Kirby.

Any other guesses?

Which vacuum?

She wouldn't - that would be Carla's job - or her replacement.

In the house she had with Don, I would say Electrolux - don't know why, just seems right to me. In the house with Henry, possibly central vacuum, although of course she could have just brought the Electrolux from the old place.

Megan has a Connie, it was seen in one of the episodes - the day after the surprise party she threw for Don

Hmmm ....

That's an historic, giant of a house.

I doubt it would have been cost-effective to install a central vacuum -- which would have been extremely rare back then, anyway. Not to mention quite ineffective.

And so far we have yet to see any "replacement" of Carla's at the new house.
