And it's already at $172.50! I would say you're right John, it will indeed reach astronomical numbers before all is said and done, and rightfully so, it's a beautiful machine and a NIB DAM just doesn't show up that often! Here's what I'm looking for after the auction ends though, I would predict we will see an influx of used DAM's on eBay. Folks will see what that one sold for and think their old one should bring just as much and list it with an over-inflated price..... I may be wrong, but I have seen this happen several times in the past with items on eBay.

I have a few 'doubles and triples' myself.

Some were given to me and mean a lot. I'll never get rid of them. But, I must go through some of the 'others' and thin out. Although the DAM9s) had their faults, they are a mighty good vacuum cleaner... the forerunner for most everything now. (Windtunnels) etc. The tools connect and suction are amazing. Those tools were just like the convertibles, etc... brushes, crevice tools, telescoping wands, etc were excellent quality.
Let's see who gets this cleaner. it shows that there ARE NIB out there.
