I must admit though not particularly quiet, Vax's paper pleated cone filters were far easier to clean and seemed to last longer than the Panasonic triple filter system in between cleans. I loved the Twin Bin design on the upright though as they were beautifully light to push and pull across carpets but they were far from deep cleaning.
