Avoid the twin tank Panasonic. Awful, awful, awful. The uprights were slightly better than the cylinders but still awful when I think of the amount of times i had to clean mine out!

I have the non-HEPA version of that Panasonic twin-bin and can concur with Sebo_Fan that, although very powerful when empty with clean filters, they clog up easily and activate the suction relief valve frequently.

There was also a Twin tank dirt devil blue bagless upright vacuum cleaner and a lot of other vacuum cleaners I never took pics of.

I must admit though not particularly quiet, Vax's paper pleated cone filters were far easier to clean and seemed to last longer than the Panasonic triple filter system in between cleans. I loved the Twin Bin design on the upright though as they were beautifully light to push and pull across carpets but they were far from deep cleaning.

Ours didn't get used much - never cleaned the filters properly I suppose.

Does anyonr hae any history on the Goblin Steamatic?
