I just picked this up off Ebay, I love Elites so I couldn't pass it up. Can anyone tell me a year that it may have been manufactured? Also, I'm reasonably sure that the bag is not original so can anyone tell me what the original would have looked like? Does anyone possibly have an original?

Your Hoover Elite 350 was manufactured in March of 1989, as indicated by the first four digits of the serial number. The original bag was white with a faint beige interlocking hexagonal pattern. Below is the specification sheet showing the cleaner with its original bag.

Hoover Elite 350
I have an Elite 350 with a maroon bag. Mine was produced Sept. of 1989. This is the first I've seen of them using a beige bag on this model. I also have an Elite 200 in mint green, but I've seen them produced with white bases as well. Were certain colors sold by certain stores? I know the Kmart models had a stripe through the bag.
