If you search YouTube for "toddler vacuum" you'll come up with MANY videos of both little girls and boys, but most of them seem to be little boys.

The Vacuum Cleaner Museum just hosted a birthday party for a little boy turning 9. His father and grandparents brought him to the Museum (his third visit) along with his friends and cake and punch. He had a great time. Bought a $400 Verve for his birthday with his birthday money.

I guarantee he's going to be in the vac business when he grows up. He already knows what all the vacuums are in the Museum.

Charles, Thanks for the Youtube search tip. Haven't done that one yet. The one to which I linked was just found doing an "Electrolux vacuum" search.

Tom, I bet you're right that the boy you mentioned--and maybe even a friend or two--will be a vac salesman someday.

Until I arrived at Vacuumland I'd never thought much about youth (not to mention young children) being interested in air and room cleaners--probably because I wasn't. However, it stands to reason that every item that exists--either designed by God or manufactured by persons--can lend itself to curiosity, and/or fascination, and/or appreciation, and/or fondness. It's fun to see that develop.
