The serial number is.... A 1926461 It's kinda hard to read with the picture smalled down for web use.... Here's one more phot with my VGC 719 with the deluxe handgrip....

So it being a Golden Anniversary model would make it a 1958 yes... They were produced in 4 batches of 5000 each in 1958, and serial numbered in with the regular model 65's. I think the serial on mine is A190 something... I'll look when I get home tonight | ||

Is the shiny gold bag original to the cleaner? Mine and Tom Anderson's bags are both white with gold lettering, and gold flecks sort-if woven into the bag. ~Fred | ||
