I am looking into different brands of used commercial vacuums. Big foot models like the Electrolux prolux, proteams, windsors and the Hoover dubl-duty. Does anyone have some other models for me to look into? I have seen some clarke combivacs and advance carpetwins (the twins were out of my price range unfortunately) but it is escaping my mind as to other brands and or models out there. I'm not using for a commercial setting, I'm just trying to further expand my commercial vacuum section of my collection. I'd really like a Conquest, but haven't found much in that area.
Also, is the combivac have any similarities to the electroluxes/proteams because I knkow a lot of companies use that style or heavily modify it and put there name on it.

I have one of these European manufactured rebadged Tennant vacuums. Made by Nilfisk(?) Lindhaus(?) maybe, i don't know but i was glad to find one. The link is to a now closed auction for 2 examples of this model Tennant. Clarke is another commercial (re)brand to consider.

Those are definitely Lindhaus RX Hepas. They have the same head, and the cord wrap is very similar.

The Clarke Combivac is a re-badged upright made by Fakir in Germany. That's also where Clarke gets the Combivac name from, as it is named Fakir Combivac by Fakir themselves. The link below shows the model with the 12" powerhead, but they also do make one with the L shaped powerhead, too. A VERY GOOD alternative to Sebo in my opinion, & would probably choose the Fakir over Sebo infact.

There was a modern lindhaus at the hotel I used to work at, and it was brilliant. No one else used it, preferring henry, which admittedly was easier, so I would use it on the deep pile carpets every so often.

However, the bags ran out and they were too tight to buy more, so I would connect henry up to the machine, and use him to provide suction.

I've been left over 10 years now, I bet its sat at the back of the cupboard, or worse thrown out. Not a day went by where I didn't plot to steal it!

How about the ProTeam 15XP or 1500? They appear a spitting image of the Aerus uprights, probably Aerus made under the ProTeam name. Can anyone elaborate on these?

proteam 15xp

 I have one of those but unfortunately it doesn't have the handle assembly or cord. I only paid $20 for the machine but come to find the missing parts are close to $100 in total, so that machine will sit for a while.

 Around 2000 ProTeam rebadged Electrolux LLC's Xtreme and Xtreme Plus commercial vacuums with the labels: "Prolux 1400" (Xtreme-type: 40' 2-wire cord), "Prolux 1400X" (Xtreme-type: 50' 3-wire cord), and "Prolux 1400XP" (Xtreme Plus-type w/onboard tools, hose, and wand). Electrolux by that time had stopped using the Prolux trademark on its commercial line. In addition, the 1400, 1400X, and 1400XP bore the ProTeam brand and the words "by Electrolux" on its labels, so any confusion would be eliminated. ProTeam customers especially liked the onboard tools of the 1400XP, while Electrolux customers (including those who'd purchased the household versions Lux 4000 and Lux 6000) complained about frequent clogging of the hose and the top-heaviness that the onboard accessories created compared to the standard version. So around 2005 Aerus opted to sell the onboard accessory upright design to ProTeam Inc. (acquired in 2009 by Emerson Tool Company, St. Louis, Missouri).

ProTeam-Emerson has tweaked the design both in the newer "ProCare 15XP" and the "ProForce 1500XP" the latter of which included upgrades of a dual exhaust, longer yellow cord, rubber reinforcements on the cord cleat and carrying handle, and a sensor that turned off the brush roll when the handle was put in its upright position.

Other companies have also rebadged the onboard accessories/L-shaped nozzle design including Pullman-Holt's model UV5 "Rug Boss" and Sanitaire's models SC6600 & SC6600A.

Aerus's current commercial upright is the Lux Commercial model U129U. Features include: 8.5 amperage rating; a true HEPA filter, which captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns; powerful 2-motor system; reinforced power nozzle, bag housing and handle; bag cover hinge features a third rivet to prevent breakage and the cover is attached with four screws for added durability; redefined vents for greater airflow reduce motor temperature and add to the life of the motor; 35-foot, 3 wire grounded, commercial-duty cord; and optional tools and off-board tool caddy.

After reading the information below, I am now wondering if Aerus uprights have been made by ProTeam since 2003 when it outsourced its Lux Guardian, Lux Legacy, and Lux Classic to Eureka/AB Electrolux? The Aerus Lux models, without OBTs are almost the same as ProTeam's Cascade series.
