Sadly, with priorities in life changing, I have decided that the time has come to think about selling some of my cleaners.

So, the first one I'm offering is my beloved Hoover Convertible (dial-a-matic) 1124. I'll post some pics up later.

It is a good condition, fully functioning earlyish example, in white and blue. A few age related scuffs on the base unit, but no damage and all the plastics on the top casing are in good condition with no cracks, splits or discolouration.

The handle mounting is perfect too.

This is a smart and presentable Convertible, which works well, albeit there is a bit of noise from the bearings on the beaterbar. The motor is sweet running and it has at some poiont had a replacement white cable.

I'll pop the serial number on here later along with pics.

So, message me for more details. I'm putting it on here for sale first, but it will be going onto eBay over the weekend.

Cheers

Hi Andy, Sorry to hear you have to sell off some of your vacuum cleaners.

I'm sure someone on here or ebay will give it a good home. It's a model quite a few collectors over here will want.

Have you ever been on here before under a different name as it says it's your 1st post? Just wondered.

nice DAM!

Not my cup of tea, but what a lovely machine. I rescued one from the tip a decade or so ago, but the base was all snapped so I gave it to Pete cracknell (is he still about?) As a spares machine.

Good luck with the sale, eBay may be worthwhile to you!
