The "801" is actually a Royal vacuum cleaner.
The tools in the first pic are for the Royal, bar the metal nozzle which is for the Kirby. Can't tell if that wall brush is a Kirby one??
The Kirby is from 1953, and I'm sorry, but I don't know much about the Royal.

Both vacs look very nice, you could try selling on ebay, or on this very forum in the supermarket section. I'm glad they are being saved, and not disposed of etc.
I will save you some time though, I'm interested in the Kirby 513 and accessories, if you are willing to ship to the United Kingdom, of course I'd pay the costs ;)

I can help determine what parts go with what, value is hard to put on vacuums really. I will email you from the email address in your profile to discuss it further if that is ok

The Kirby 513 was produced from 1953-54. It appears to be a 1st-series model with the gray handle grip and the 3.0 amp motor (later units would use a red handle grip and 4.0 amp motor). Regardless of grip and motor size, it should have a step-type foot switch button.

The Royal 801 that you have, was produced c. 1958-65.

Kirby 513

Just to let you guys know this is my 1st postings ever. ha. It took me 2 hrs to get pics on my phone to this site. I must say the vac community seems to be some super nice peps with a lot of info!! Thank you very much!! There is not a lot of info out there about the Royal so any is helpful. My problem is trying to figure out what to do with them. I am having a hard time pricing them. I have seen and or heard anywhere from $ 75.00 all the way to $2,000. Im soo confused right now as to what to do.

supertub,

Could you please, by chance, upload scans for both the Royal 801 parts list and instruction book that I see in the first picture you have uploaded here? I am very interested in both of those.

Thank you,

Ben Edge

I don't think anybody in the world will pay $2000 for the Kirby. Fully restored versions of your Kirby have been on Ebay for around $700 (without attachments)and they did not sell. I think you should be able to ask $250 for the Kirby with the attachments. The Royal should fetch more than $100 but less than the Kirby. Of course my opinion isn't worth much. You will learn real fast what people are willing to pay on Ebay. Take good photos of the Kirby attachments because they are what will cause people to start bidding on your Kirby vacuum set.

Thank you!!

Ha I didnt think it was worth $2000 lol! But I did think it was more worth more than $75. You guys have been awesome and I thank you so much for the info. Now my next new adventure will be trying to figure out how to put it on eBay lol. As I stated Im not very computer savvy. I thank you so much to all you guys for sharing your expertise with me!
