Hi all,

Picked up a couple of Hoover Shampoo Polishers not sure how common these models are ?

First up is model 5498 Custom Deluxe with Headlight in a nice 70's yellow. Not seen this style hood before with a light.

And second model 5479 with speed control again not sure how long speed controls where added to the polisher line ?

Cheers
Mark

My former Hoovers

How common? Not very!Others here know more of models, dates and production.I have seen many Hoover polishers and shampooers back to 50s but with each of these it is only one I have ever seen or found. There were many of the later burgundy/gray with supertank in the area at one time.Even these seem to have been replaced with steam type upright cleaners.-Nice they can stay together.-Happy Cleaning,Jimmy
