A little over a year ago, i bought a Kirby Sanitronic VII on ebay and it turns out the seller is a member here on Vacuunland. It is in very good original condition, except for a replacement bag. The replacement is a genuine Kirby bag, so I'm happy with it. The machine didn't have any attachments and I have been looking for some for some time now. I have seen some on eBay, but they are usually for the DS-50, so the hose won't turn on the Sani VII, and they want a small fortune for them.

Today i took the bus downtown and had lunch at a fast food place in the same strip mall that my favorite thrift store is in. I had no intention o going there today, because lately they haven't had anything vacuum wise, and and prices have gone through the roof. As I was finishing eating, I got this funny feeling. I've had this feeling before and it has never led me astray before. Sure enough, in the appliance aisle, I saw a Dirt Devil bag less hand vac. I walk over to it and on the shelf under it was an original Sanitronic box with a $30 price tag on it. I opened the box and inside was an original Miracle Head and hose and attachment set for the Sanitronic VII. The Miracle Head and Suds O Gun have never been used. The attachments and hose show gentle use. All the attachments are there except for the wall and ceiling brush, but I can get one of those later. The boxes are a little worn but salvageable.

I noticed one thing odd about the box. It has the Sanitronic logo, but no where does the Kirby name show. It does show on the Attachment box. Is this normal for the older model Kirby's? The box does say it was made by Scott & Fetzer in Cleveland.

All in all for not intending to go thrifting today, I got very lucky, now that I've completed my Sanitronic.
