Does anyone know if vacuum repair shops polish Kirby vacuums? I have always wondered if there was a way to have this done by someone who knows what they are doing. Thanks!

Some shops in my area do. All you can do is ask around in your area to see if they will handle the buffing of your machine

Try looking for somebody who polishes car wheels. I found a guy to do my Kirby who normally polishes hot rod wheels. He wanted me to mark which surfaces get polished as he was not familiar with vacuums. The cost is high at $200 but this is California...
