So I went to an estate sale today. There was a Kirby and a Hoover listed on the sale bill. I was skeptical about getting the Kirby because this particular auction service usually sells Kirby vacuums for several hundred dollars. Well I showed up and looked around. The Hoover turned out to be a white Fold Away, and a dirty one at that. They finally got up to the auctioneer and he put both up, so you could bid and then choose which one you wanted, or take both for twice the money. He started the bid at $100 and nobody jumped in. It went down to $75, still nothing, and finally $50. I jumped in and nobody else ran the bid up. Yay! I think i lucked out since this is an older model. Interestingly enough, the Fold Away went for $35 and a Hoover Steam Vac sold for $65.

Is this bag for the ZippBrush original?

And so the family grows. I really have a soft spot for Kirby's, but they consume a lot of space!

Question

Is it okay to use a G-series belt in the Heritage? If not, what belt should I use?

Yes, if you use part #301291 (the knurled belt).

Thanks Ben for the info. I apologize if the pictures are wonky, I uploaded them from my iPhone. They are viewing fine from it but are out of orientation on my MacBook.
