Hello all, well I am having some trouble with my Kirby Sanitronic 7. Well heres the story, my kirby has a had a loose handle for as long as I can remember, but yesterday I was vacuuming the shag white carpet in my room and the vacuum got stuck. I pushed a little harder to try to get the vacuum free and the handle just popped off. My question is, should I just replace the whole handle shaft, or should i find a way to have the handle welded or glued back on? Ill post pics.

Is there a reason that you don't want to just replace the upper part of the handle? You do know that the whole handle unit is three seperate pieces. Check ebay, you should be able to find the handle grip with cord hook fairly easily.
