They want what? for that Rainbow?? $149 In the local thrift shop. I don't know where they got that price , especially for a thrift store . |

Welcome to the new 'improved' economics of the 'Thrift' store. Must be driven by those CEO salaries; certainly staff are paid no more than minimum wages. Prices have been creeping up all around my area. It got so bad the the local ReStore, under new 'management', people stopped shopping there for used donated appliances and building materials. Restore asked folks why and were told their prices were outrageous - same thing at the Goodwill and St Vincent dePaul now. Ridiculous prices. The single holdout for continuing thrifty prices seems to be The Salvation Army store and Bibles & Missions outlets.
