Well, not quite twins -- one's a 517 and one's a 519. I challenge y'all to guess which is which! I've always liked having two of this model-series. When I was a little boy in Virginia, my mom played the organ for a large Baptist church in Hampton, Virginia. The custodian's room at the church was a large room, one end of which was under a stairway. There were two Kirby 516, 517, 518 or 519 machines in there (speckled bag with round belt lifter), stored under the stairway with their handles in the half-down position. They were very shiny and new-looking and glistened in the semi-dark corner where they lurked! |

Nice find! Hard to find those older models, let alone with the original bag. |
