What a shame!! Take the lux apart when it is dry, and lubricate the bearings as water in the motor may cause the motor to rust and seize up! If it turns freely, and is COMPLETLY dry, the best you can do is try it out:) |

Casualties
With having to clear the entire basement out, I was getting sick of moving vacuums. The Kirby I never really liked and it was soaked. The Lux fell and the bottom broke, plus it was full of water. All the attachments I didn't care about and two power heads were just soaked. It all went into the garbage. I was more worried about the Halloween decorations and washers and dishwashers. They are all fine. |
