Found an odd and funny vacuum cleaner episode of the early 1960s sitcom "Pete and Gladys" with Harry Morgan. Its on Youtube, under "Pete and Gladys with Richard Deacon" there are 3 segments to the episode. The person who posted it is "DentelTV1" Watch all 3 segments, its really funny. Its about a Hair Dryer that you are supposed to attach to a vacuum cleaner.
The vacuum cleaner looks like a hollywood prop - ive never seen such a machine before. Watch the episode and see what you think. I had forgotten about this sitcom,,is kinda fun to watch it again, and it has the old commercials wit it too. |

I know the Filter Queen Vacuum came with a hair dryer attachment at one time, that was an actual bonnet that went over the head that was set in rollers. Never heard of anyone actually using it tho. I think it was a premium that the FQ salesman gave when selling the vacuum. Like give me the names and numbers of all of your friends that would be interested in seeing the New Filter Queen, and win a free hair dryer.
