Your Beautiful Kirbys

James, thanks for posting photos of your beautiful collection, and of the visit to the Kirby factory. WOW! I did not know they have an Aer-Rotor!! That's one of the remaining machines on my wish list!!!

Your machines really do put mine to shame. I simply don't have time to polish mine and keep them shiny and beautiful. Nor do I have a suitable facility to display them, which just feeds into the problem of keeping them clean and polished.

I'd like to know more about your home as well -- it looks like a very old building. Love the fireplace mantels.

Again, many thanks -- and I do hope other collectors will post their photos as well.

James, you have quite an extensive collection and those are some BEAUTIFUL Kirbys...especially the early C-series machines. Thanks for posting.

Can't find link to pictures

I cannot seem to find the location of these photos that James has shared with us. If they are in the collections section, they are not showing on my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Found pictures

It's the strangest thing: when I use the browser for AOL the post of pictures does not show up. When I use another browser independant of AOL it does. ??????

In any case, finally got to see this remarkable collection of Kirbys. James these are magnificent. One of my only remaining collecting goals is to find a decent Scott and Fetzer Sanitation system. Yours are stunning.

Hi,Thanks for the complements people very nice of you.
Hi skip hope you are well. My gold kirby is still in its box, packed away and could not get to it when I took the photos.
Might add it later if I get chance.
Hi Seamus
I have all uk models from the Classic III onwards.
Did have a Classic uk omega but it was in poor condition so I got rid of it.
Gsix onwards I bought from new. It nice being the only person to of owned it.

Still a long way to go with kirbys and parts I need (cables,Boxes, etc.)
I would love to get a kirby 3C next to complete my C series.Saying that I would also like a Ezee, aer-rotor, and the R series.
Also now need a complete Sentria looks like I will be looking out for kirby things I need for years to come!!!!

James
