Thank you Terry. It's good to be among friends. Thanks, Jeff. I'll check out that site. Thanks for the pic, too. I didn't know you had one of these! Bobby |

Hey Bobby, great to see you over on this side. I thought I sent you some belts for that machine. I know the bags didn't work, but did you get the belts? |

Andy, the belts are great. Yes I got them, but finding bags was a pain. Jeff sent a link for them that I was unable to find. When they come in I'll let everyone know how they are. Bobby |

Man those Regina's must have come and gone fast, I remember seeing one in a vac shop not too long ago, I had thought Regina was gone. Hopefully the bags that I sent the link for will work. |

Pat, it was good to meet you, too. The Panasonic bag diameter is too large. The bag would be loose on the collar. Turbo, do you have any pics? Did they look identical? Bobby |

This particular machine was made by SMC in China. These machines were also branded as 'Lewyt'... These following link is the bags for the Lewyt machine, but I assume would also be the same for your Regina... CLICK HERE TO GO TO piano_god's LINK |

Thanks for sharing info on the bags, piano god. The musicians are watching out for each other. I'm not a pianist, but one of the lowly church organists in the club. Bobby |

Turbo, was this red "Lewyt" sold in the US or UK? Never saw one here. Bobby |

I think these Lewyt branded machines were more popular in Canada. I have an old VDTA mag somewhere that has a picture of the uprights and the canisters. Here's an example of one of their cans |

Andy, the canister looks a lot like a Miele. Is it? Turbo, is Dirt Devil in the UK owned by Royal(US)? Who bought the Lewyt name? Ye gods, so many questions! Bobby |

Nope, but you can definitely see the Miele influences on this, as well as other cans like Fuller Brush, Euro-Pro, etc. |

Andy, I had no idea the Lewyt name was even still on the market. Great photo. Isn't sad that almost all vacuums now are starting to look the same, have the same hoses, tools, cords... Still loving the Miele!!!! My daily driver along with the Air-Way. I must say, they are probably the two best canisters on the market. Having the Air-Tec tools for my Air-way makes it one solid cleaner. Morgan |
