Found this at Hesco for my newly acquired Hoover DAM, kind of disappointed it is made of plastic and assembled in Mexico, but so is my VW! And god only knows why they leave off the other wheel! It's a brand new 13 year old power max power drive for a DAM and a variety of other Hoover models. I also found a hose, some belts, a diffuser (has to be glued in) and 2 rear wheels. John G., you left some parts at Hesco!

Sorry,

but that power drive you have there WILL NOT work on a DAM!! It is for a Hoover Wind Tunnel.

Are you sure?

It caries the same part # as the one in the DAM IPL. It sure looks like it would fit. I hope it will - I paid over $100 for it. I believe it fits in a variety of Hoover products with power drive. It's not geared backwards or something, is it?

Hoover DAM Main body

Box was dated 2/10/87, found at Hesco in Ohio, the plastic bag it was in was deteriorating. I am thinking an all white DAM if I can find all the parts, Thanks for looking.

Got this at Low-Price-Vacuum.com

Thanks, Lucy - Also found the white motor cover at Hesco, white handle is coming from Ebay, all I need is the white front cover - very hard to find.
