So I'm doing my usual craigslist browsing and I have stumbled upon one of those cheap resale shops, the kind that sell all sorts of recycled building materials and whatever they can get their hands on that goes in a home. Anyway, they have 3 Hoover concepts, windtunnel and a vac I can't identify but I think is a singer/kenmore. I'm hoping I can get them to make a good deal on the concepts and or the unidentified vac, because they want $40 a piece and I think that is a little irrational considering they probably all need a good tuneup.

The one on the far right...

is a Kenmore lightweight upright. It is like a powerhead with a fan, of sorts. It does not take paper bags, you just dump the dirt like an older Kirby machine.

The one I have needs a new fan.If you do respond to this ad, and you don't want the green one, I need need some parts from it.

Well...

All I can say is that mine is made of a heavy cotton. On the top of the bag, it has a white plastic slide clamp (like the old hoovers), so you can empty the contents by inverting the bag and shaking.

Please do post the picture of the bag you talking about. It must have had an option for either the dump bag or paper.

Sears

I can confirm that this is cloth dump out as it seems to be my former and only one ever seen Kenmore. So now you may have a chance of one with what may be a worse bag but a possible good fan for 'take 2 and make 1'.Good Luck!

Guy,

Would have been shipped from Bristol,VA address.Sears has had similar versions at different times but very rarely seen. Will have more Kenmore to adore(twin fan & canister)but next EBay will likely be electric brooms and WESTINGHOUSE for at least 5 houses!Happy vacuuming,Jimmy
