Now don't worry not vacuums were harmed... this vacuum could easyly be turned back into a vacuum, i just took the motor out and stuck a lamp in with a filterqueen wand over the lamp pole...

Ive wired the lamp up so the power switch on the filter queen now turns the lamp on and off and the cord to the filter queen is the power cord for the lamp oh and the lamp shade is the cone support :)

hope you enjoy!

please tell me what you think!

I love it!!! I have once used a clamp-on type lamp on the handle of a Kirby... I may try that gain. I also loved your "No vacuums were harmed" notice.

Very nice!

Although personally, I would have liked to have seen it as a floor lamp ... that way, the power switch on the FQ could be used as it was intended to be used! :)

I'm the man who founder the Vacuum Cleaner Collectors Club. One of our first members was a man named Craig Long. He lived in Buffalo, and he left the club many years ago. Would you have any idea where he is. Craig was a walking encyclpedia of vacuum cleaner knowledge.

Here's a picture of him.

Thanks Alex Taber.
