Here's my 1980 numatic NV 250 that I got from a garage sale for only £1, with all attachments (other than the little tools). It runs great. This was my first ever vacuum, got it about 3 years ago now! Anyway here it is:

With some new tools I got for it

And finally......

Nice! I've never seen a floor brush like the red one in the first PIC, is it a genuine numatic one?

Yes it is, it was sold with the very early commercial numatics

Nice! That was the floor tool that originally came with my HVC200, I hope I'll find one someday.

Sorry to disappoint, but that exact machine wasn't made in 1980, although it has a black switch (which was only on early-ish numatics). The eyes have black outlines around them, which came around 1987, and the hose is a newer one from around that time too, but these could have just been replaced over time, so I could be wrong. How did you figure it was from 1980?

Yes ultimatevacman I know it doesn't look like its from 1980, but the hose is a genuine replacement from last year and the face is too. It says 1980 on the motor. And the motor has the old logo on it. Here is the original face that came on it before I replaced it:

Ah right, thanks for clearing that up!

What did you stick the old face on?

Also, where about does it say the year on the motor? because my Henry is from 1981 and it doesn't have a year on the motor, and it's original too, 680W 800W max.

last thing... what's the wattage output on the motor?

Sorry for asking so many questions haha

Hi there, the old face is stuck on a red dustbin( you commented on it on YouTube)
And if you take the seal off the fan end of the motor it said it there. I'm not sure what the wattage is, I'll go check it out later!

Ah yes lol

Yes, that's the old "diamond" numatic logo.

Wow, that's a lot of fine dust! I wonder what they were vacuuming up for it to get like that, it still seems like it runs smoothly though. I thought the bearings would sound a bit dodgy after that, it just shows you how reliable they are :)

I can't get it apart any more than that. I don't know how to disconnect the motor!

Did you un-screw from the top or the bottom?

Ok, well I might be getting an NV250 soon, so I'll let you know once I get it.
