Hi, The other week I was offered this as long as I paid for the postage...
Well it arrived today. A earlier version of the Hotpoint Light N Easy:o) I've already gave it a quick clean up. The bearing need regreasing and the zip doesn't unzip. I'm not sure I can unzip it with out breaking the zip. I would like to empty the paper bag inside it and put in a new one. Any ideas how to get in to it with out damaging the zip?? But I do like it. Still some work to do on it. Hope you like some of the pictures I've took of it. James:o)

I couldn't find a candle in the end so I used some oil on the zip left it and put a small amount of grease the thread as well. Only small amounts... Then a bit of wiggling;o) I'm glad it's got it's got a new paper bag in it. It had a very old genuine Hoover bag in it that had fell to bits. So I vacuumed out the outer bag:o) All clean now:o) James:o) | ||

hi james. havnt heard from you in ages. hope your shop is doing well. i noticed you have a hoover 1224 in one of your photos. i have a hoover floor polisher on its way to me that would have matched it in the same light blue. i have a great hoover 119 from 1953. my mobile number is still the same if you still have it. lets catch up sometime. would still like to see your shop and collection. gary
