little red Eurekas I have the plainer(standard hose,no power nozzle)in box with all atts and nice EXCEPT for motor problems.Motor could be easily changed.Will GO soon one way or another!They were good vacs-metal,real atts etc.But after changing a 4ply Elux self sealing filter bag how can you really like the type H? | ||

I agree they fill to fast and the filtration is awful! This poor thing had a bearing so full of dirt it didn't even move at all. I put a new one in and oiled the sleeve bearing and she runs like a top. It only pulls 60 on suction meter but with the power nozzle it seems like it has a lot more. I used to have the straight suction model of this too but now another collector enjoys it.
Hey Jimmy you has told me one time that before Eureka had these type power nozzles they had made one like the Don Clark power nozzle. I was wondering if you could shed some light on that? I'm guessing it would have started with the sweet 16? | ||
