I came across a few kirbys to add to my collection, but right now i just want to add 2. So, I need an opinion of which 3 of the following kirbys i should add to my small collection in need of vintage vacuums, I'll include the links for each vac so you guys can help me decide on what to get. what i found that i liked was a 514 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Kirby-51... ), 519 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/KIRBY-VINTAGE-UP... ), Sanitronic VII (http://www.ebay.com/itm/NICE-VINTAGE-KIR... ), Dual Sanitronic 80 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Kirby-Du... )(this one needs an em-tor, a DS80 bag and topper, and a DS80 cord since this has no emtor, the bag has no topper and isn't a DS 80 bag, and it has no em-tor), classic 1cr A.K.A. the last vacuum jim kirby ever made before his death in 1971(http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-Kirby-Classi... ), classic omega 1cb (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kirby-Classic-Om... ), classic 3 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kirby-Classic-II... ), kirby tradition (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kirby-Tradition-... ), kirby Heritage (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Heritage-Kirby-U... ), kirby heritage 2 - this one is a rare find since it is NIB (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kirby-Heritage-I... ), and a vacuette hand held (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-KIRBY-VA... )
i also thought about getting a vintage hoover. here are the ebay listings I like let me know which 2 i should add to my collection in need of vintage machines: a Decade style hoover heavy duty vacuum (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Retro-Vintage-80... ), deluxe convertible mode U4397 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-HOOVER-C... ), h oover convertible model U4393 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-green-Ho... ), convertible model 35 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Hoover-C... ), model 28 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-Hoover-Uprig... ), model 475 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-Hoover-Uprig... ), model 66 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Hoover-M... ), concept 1 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Hoover-C... ), power drive (http://www.ebay.com/itm/vintage-hoover-p... ), and model 593 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Hoover-V... )

I appreciate you guys offering your machines. kirby kid, that 518 looks like it just needed a good polish when you got it (and a cord if it didn't come with it) and your hoover baby also looked like it needed a good polish. everyone should feel free to offer me any other vintage machine you may want to get rid of. aeoliandave, thanks for fixing my original post so it was more radable.

p.s. i don't know how this topic was posted in the modern forum since when I selected what my topuic was about, I clicked on vacuums that are less than 20 years old.

P.P.S. Included in my post is a picture of the only vintage vacuum I have

Oh wait i meant to say in my previous post vacuums which are greater thann 20 years old instead of vacs which are less than 20 years old.

it needed a bit more than a polish. it needed new bearings. sounded horable. a new brush, and a new cord. but that was it. and i did get a nice original cord
