Hi all. Today I got this Hoover 417. The couple I got it off was sorting out bits for their mother.

I think it is in very good condition for it's age. It comes with all it's attachments, manual, dustbags, box and original receipt dated 16th of Sep 1954.
I think once it's been given a quick polish/clean it will look almost new again.

Hope you like it.

James:o)

Nice find James

It looks like it has hardly been used, and literally everything as it came from the factory.

The first model with pip and clip attachments in the UK (introduced 1953) it is unusual in that the pips and clips are on the back rather then front of the hose and nozzles
