Today I used my sanitaire and it broke a new top care belt.this is the second belt in a week to break,these belts were purchased at the grocery store do the eureka RD belts hold up better? the pulley and VG 2 are new.

"genuine" parts.  Can't help you with Sanitaire.....not my species.  But,  just my observation about genuine parts.

Can for the most part get away with generic flat belts, however when it comes to round belts ALWAYS use genuine. Nothing will last as long.

Could the belts first used been very old?Like they would no longer be elastic and and feel dry and stiff.
