Hello fellow vacuumers!

A while ago I purchased a Henry HVC200,
that did not have the original bucket/base part, instead it had a newer one from a HVR200-22.
so I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get an original bucket? (the one without the "stabilizer part" that covered the back wheels).

I would appreciate any advice given.

Thanks,

- Joe

P.S. The link is to a video of my Henry.

I'd say eBay is probably a good bet, i've seen one or two on there in the past few months.

Good luck.

Dave

Defiantly eBay!
Like I said to you the other day, there were loads of the earlier buckets on there not long ago; they all seem to have disappeared now :(

I've attached a pic showing an earlier bucket [the type you should have, but of course in red].
Notice at the top lip of the bucket, between the eyes, there is a slope section to the lip. From this two faint lines can be seen going down then running towards the hose connector. I think this is only a mark from when the bucket was injection moulded, or flash marks etc.
Anyway it’s a good way to tell an 80's bucket from a front view. As I'm sure it’s only these 80's ones which have the marks and slope to the top lip which I have pointed out.
Of course these do not have that stabilizer at the rear.
Hope this helps you in obtaining the correct type of bucket :)
You could of course use an earlier 90's bucket, up to about 94/95? As these also do not use the stabilizer, but I'm not too sure if they have those distinct marks on the front.

I will keep a look out for a bucket for you :)

Thanks guys!

At the place I used to work, they used to have a 1991 NV200 with a bucket like that.
