Hello all, just got a dc 24 and i was wondering if it is posible to fix the ratling in the brushroll?

Could be the brush roll end cap that has worn out.

Dyson sent me a new brush and end cap the noise reduced slightly but the brush motor then burnt out (common fault apparently). Dyson then sent me a new brush head assembly and now my DC24 works fine.

A hope a new brush and end cap will resolve your issue.

Excellent result :)

Dyson are always great at sending parts under warranty. I just hope my Brush Head doesn't fail again as the rattling started on mine after 1 year.
