a 580W motor sounds a little bit different than 867-models with 600W motor. I donīt know why. Actually I like this sound a lot=) |

Doug
If you check out the link to one of Markus's videos, this feature carried on for many more years, as the Smoke Pine/Swedish green constellation shows. Markus has said that it may be because hard floors are far more common in Finland than fitted carpet so of course with an airlift connie the dust gets blown everywhere. It is however a distinct disadvantage with the 86 series connies as the cleaner does not move easily and the hose is attached on one side of the cleaner, whereas with the earlier 822, with a top mount and 360 degree swivel coupling it was much less of an issue. The airlift 822A was introduced in the UK between Jan and July 1958, and the 862 (only airlift) in September 1959. At the time Hoover had a manufacturing facility in Finland so this machine was probably made or at least assembled there Al CLICK HERE TO GO TO vacbear58's LINK |

Great att caddy. We had at least 2 types of cardboard caddy in US but not this one.US had the 1 telescopic wand,no brush on crevice and the floor brush became optional. Thanks to you and others for for showing this and other Euro vacs we would not otherwise see. |
