I love canister vacs and Hoovers are one of my favorites. Perhaps we can find you one nice Hoover for you to add to your collection!! Any in particular that you're looking for, most likely a headlight. Are you more into the traditional sounding "Convertible Symphony" style motor like on 69 or would you want a louder, more powerful 4.8/ 6.? as on a Decade 800! Just a thought. I'm not much of a Kirby guy myself. I do a lot of house cleaning for clients and need a versatile machine for doing wall to wall carpet, wood floors, ceramic tile, upholstery and grabbing cobwebs in the corners. I find my canister vacs outclean and groom carpets better than the G4's that we own while being much easier to use. The shiny metal on a Kirby and Royal is neat to look at though!
