I have wanted one of these since they came out. Well today I went to Sears and they had one that someone had returned. I looked at it and then left for work. While at work, I thought about it all day. I even looked up reviews on my tablet. It had a lot of good reviews and some bad. I was worried about how it would groom my plush carpeting. I have a friend who has one and she absolutely loves it. My partner told me that I don't need it. He said my Miele will do just as good. Well I wanted it and it is my money. I also usually buy myself something with my tax money and said screw it I want the Dyson. I told myself that if it is there when I go back to Sears after work, I am buying it. Well it was there and the lady let me test it out. I used it on one of their black commercial rugs. It picked up everything and groomed it nicely. I paid and took it home. It still has all the warranty and everything. When I got it home, I cleaned the bin good and went to work. I was shocked at how little weight it takes to push the nozzle. I have bursitis bad in my right shoulder and bad wrists. Using this won't bother my shoulder at all. After vacuuming, there was so much fine dirt. We vacuum about 5 times a week and I just did sunday. It is a purchase I am glad I made.

Grooming.............

I was wondering how it was going to groom my carpet. I told the lady at Sears this and she told me that is why it was returned. Well I do not think it did bad. Some of my uprights don't groom this well.

Yes some uprights won't groom as well but some will groom much better.

It's middle of the road I'd say.

For the price though, not worth it in my opinion.

If you're happy, that's great.

That was the reason I bought it. It was only $269.93 and they just marked it own from $319.99.
