as you can see that black tube covers the whole where the dirt enters forcing it down into the black box, but most of the stuff would get stuck to the mesh covering the filter housing

behind the filter an air freshener disk this works really well as lots of air passes through it compared to the other turbopowers

I am so glad you showed all these excellent photographs as it reminded me why a standard Turbopower rear body could not be used to repair a Freedom Turbopower, and likewise why a Freedom could not be converted to a paper-bag model, as the mouldings for the screw for the respective dust chutes are not in the same place.

What is the difference between the Turbopower Boost and the Turboboost, one of which is on eBay just now?

Sorry, I did not explain myself very well earlier.Whilst I do beleieve that Hoover made a conversion kit for the Turbopower Freedom, the cleaner as it was could not be fitted with the required dust chute from a conventional Turbopower model. So someone like myself who ran a shop repairing cleaners and had a stock pile of old Turbopower parts could not covert the cleaner as it was. I either had to replace the rear body, or send for the conversion kit. As the situation never arose in my shop due to never being asked to convert one, it is but a paper exercise when I mention it now.
