I was wondering from reading another thread - do the Hoover Slimline and Portable have a pre-motor filter? I've seen photos of the Slimline and they don't seem to have a pre filter, but instead a screen over the fans. I've never seen in a Portable, but I know they used the same motor as the Slimline and D-A-M. It just seems odd to me there's an exhaust filter but no motor filter. I guess it just wasn't feasible.

On the base, to the left side of the switch, is a little door. I've replaced mine often. All you need to do is go to a hardware store or H Depot, etc, and get the thi black air conditioner filter. Cut it to fit, and place it inside. They work very well. Thanks for thinking of me to ask a question. John. |
