I was just wondering how offten users clean there separators. I clean everyday and my water is just slightly cloudy. No balls of lint or hair. In fact you can still see through the water its so clean and thats with two cats and a woodstove running in the winter so I only clean the separator once a week and its usually not dirty

Rainbow

I used to have to clean my seperator after every use but since I've been using a capful of aquawet my seperator never seems to get dirty

Separator

I put mine in the dishwasher after 2 or 3 uses. After every use I always check the seal on the underside of the main unit and the top of the basin where said seals sets to make sure they are clean.

Rainbow care

Also VERY important to store with motor unit and water pan separated.

I think it's a wetting agent the same as dishwasher rinse aid. You can use jet dry but I can only use a drop or it foams too much.....I've never used the aquawet but I'm sure it doesn't foam as bad as rinse aid does.
