I could use some help with this celebrity. I picked up an orange and brown Hoover celebrity II Elite but it just doesn't seem to have much to it, it pulls a 3 at the machine with the baird gauge and a 0 at the hose end i'm trying to get the the motor apart to investigate the cause of it's low airflow i can get the plastic shell off the first fan just fine but after this i'm stumped i cannot get a socket wrench onto those motor case bolts and i cannot find a good place to grab the motor to get the nut off the fan.

Here is a picture of the motor in the celebrity if this helps

You have to remove the plastic clips in order to access the fan. Be sure to pry them off gently.

Thanks for the responses guys i ended up getting it though i had to use a wrench to remove the casing first so i could grab the armature to remove the bolt on the fan. Funny part about all this is the main reason for it's performance issues...was that both the medium and maximum buttom was pressed so there was an air leakage causing it's airflow to be so low it is now pulling a 5.5 at the machine and 3 at the hose
