You can use Eureka style "RD" belts (for Sanitaires), OR a stretched out Convertible belt. I'd stick with the Eureka "RD" to be safe, though. Beautiful cleaner you have there! Did you notice the date stamp of the rebuild? It should be on the base near the rear wheels. It's pre 1950 for sure, as the circular Hoover logo hadn't shown up yet. I LOVE the special cleaners! My best friend found an AMAZING one for me on ebay, a model 150 special! I also Have an 825 special that was rebuilt in '52 :)

That is confusing lol. If you could snap a pic that would be cool. I'm guessing it was rebuilt in the thirties somewhere. I love finding out when these things were rebuilt! You have a really nice 105, the bag is beautiful!

Hoover Special

Very nice! These were one of the first uprights to do a good job of carpet cleaning.Great colors with the matching bag. There was also a brown/tan rebuild.I had relatives north of downtown Seattle at one time.Visited once and saw Pike Place,Smith tower,Space Needle, drive on ferry,Underground, now gone King Dome, and more. One of the great regions.Do you see the local attractions or you somewhat like me in that I am 15 miles from Bristol Nascar racetrack and never go?-Happy Hoovering-Jimmy
