As Rolls says. the brush roll you have is the Activator one Hoover installed from a similar design found on the TP series - its a rare model then not just for having that brush roll as most Juniors of that age have the metal types. I always had the original metal beater bar types and the slide out replaceable brush strips. I think I have a replacement outer bag somewhere, but it isn't a genuine one - just a label less dark grey bag. At least the outer bags are machine washable.

Great job cleaning that old girl up!
Got any pictures of it complete by any chance? My 1986 U1104 Junior has the Agitator brush roll which works fantastically, but I can't say how it would do with an Activator. One good feature about them is that both brush rolls can be interchanged so you could fit an Agitator if you had one to see how it matches up. That didn't happen to be from eBay did it? I think I recall seeing one similar on there a while back. | ||
