Hey guys I have a rather large problem. My grandma's Electrolux Discovery III power nozzle isn't running very well. We put in the new double helix Aerus brush roll per our vacuum shops suggestion about a year ago. It has been cleaning a lot better but now the motor is beginning to slow. It will start normally, and almost be struggling to turn the brush after about ten minutes. Is there anything I can do about this besides by a new motor?

I have noticed the old brush motors after 20+ years don't have the ump they used to and will start to slow and bind when a new roller is introduced into the equation. A new motor would fix it up in no time and probably make it clean better when partnered with the new brush roll.
