When I acquired this D2, it came with an early D4 dolly.  Upon doing some internet research, I've seen these with a variety of dollies, including the early light brown/tan D2 dolly and dark brown dollies in the same style.  I'm not really sure what might original to it, but the light brown/tan dolly seems to be an odd mismatch.  The solution?  Paint one!  I used SEM plastic/vinyl paint on this one.  I washed it and then wiped it down with MEK to make the plastic more porous.  I then applied some sandless primer and a couple of coats of paint.  I finished it off with a couple of clear coat layers too for durability.  I think the result is much nicer!  I lucked out too because the paint matches the color of the water basin too.
