I'm not exactly sure of the age of this one, so I"m sorry if I put it int the wrong place. Anyways, I finally got a Sanitaire to add to the collection. The college I went to had the red Sanitaires, and I never like them. I guess it was due to poor maintenance rather than bad design. This one is in excellent shape and it really cleaned up nice. The model number is S 650 A.

Two Speed

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this one is a two speed model.

Quality

I think the first impression I got from this machine was its quality. It is such a substantial vacuum, and not to mention that it cleans excellently too! Are there higher filtration bags available for Sanitaires?

Is that an F&G or ST bag sanitaire?

Sanitaire makes cloth ST hepa bags www.govacuum.com/11019-Sanitaire-...

Riccar makes cloth F&G bags shop.riccar.com/products/productd...

I've had great luck with Riccar's cloth bags in my Riccar 8900. They don't seem to leak dust all over the bag compartment, and have a cardboard flap to close the bag opening for when you throw the vacuum bag away.
