I just got a Singer Lazer Storm vacuum from a yard sale, it works but the brush doesn't spin. I took it apart and there is not a problem that I can find with it. The vacuum has very powerful suction so I know it's not that.

I had that vacuum

I had this vacuum, what drives the brushbar is the exhaust air, the air comes from the handheld, goes back down to the cleaner head, drives the gears, which drives belts, and the brush, take the head apart, and turn it on, and go through each moving part, you might want to grease the parts etc aswell
