European-Made Eurekas and Mighty Mite Power Nozzle
For our friends overseas in Europe, you can see which Eurekas were made by other Electrolux subsidiaries in Europe.
The S490 bag is for a Eureka made in Germany by Progress. The following bag models are designed for Eurekas made by Sweden's Volta company: EX, BB and MEGA bag styles. On another note - for those interested in seeing the Eureka Mighty Mite canister with the mini-power nozzle (same as the Boss Lite stick-vac), look at the image for Bag Style C. YESSSS!!! This is the kind of stuff I love to see on here!! Catalog pictures, sales advertisements, and printed info for vacs. Now if only there were some in color as well, it would be like a Eureka Holiday!
One thing I noticed: I didn't see a Eureka Express canister. A little surprised by that. I'm very interested in any info on the Sanitaire canister with the Roto-Matic power nozzle which uses Type S490Bags. It's the second picture down on left hand side on 1st Eureka bag sheet. Long suction unit and RotoMatic power nozzle. Recently saw one of these on eBay and had never seen one before. I thought I was well versed on Eureka/ Sanitaire till I stumbled upon that listing. Any info on when it was made, was it Sanitaire only or was there a Eureka one? Also if anyone has a model, what are some of the colors it was available in other than black and if it was good machine with good filtration, etc. and America sold only or foreign? Thanks so much.
