Check it out.

A really nice fully restored 1965 Kirby Sanatronic D50 w/attch & Shampooer unit listed on eBay. The seller is the owner of a vacuum repair shop.

Beautiful Machine

One of my favorites.  Beautifully restored.  That price excludes everyone except the well-heeled.  I have one as nice with all the parts, but put it together for much less.

I wish him luck getting THAT price. I don't think most Kirby collectors have Millions of dollars, so he may have to lower his price... a lot.

They all think

they can charge what ever they want . That machine has been listed for a while and still has not sold . I bought a brand new one that same model from a local Kirby dealer 10 years ago for $75.00 it still has the tag on the bag . I would never spend over $300.00 for a new old Kirby thats about the limit and thats pushing it . Some people think they can charge thousands but are sadly mistaken . I would rather buy a NIB Sentria II and have it years later still brand new .
