I haven't really had the time to post this so I figured I had better make time. a week ago I happened to stumble upon a barn sale that this lady very rarely puts together. I asked her if she had any vacuums and she stated "I have this old sweeper sitting here" my eyes bugged out of my head as I have always wanted a Hoover junior. model 115 and all original it came home for $2.50. But wait as I was getting ready to leave she stopped me and asked me if I wanted " this old polisher" for another $2.50 I brought home an orange hoover floor polisher. now from sitting in a barn you would think that the bearings would be dry but a quick bag wash and a belt and the 115 came to life running like it was just bought and the same goes for the polisher.

and with the original bag and plug. I've lost count of the number of these I've seen with a pattern bag, modern white flex and almost no paint left on it advertised as 'Collectable' with a stupidly high BIN!

Good Save

for some reason I happen to like those plastic base juniors really lightweight and powerful. the one feature that really shocked me was the power of the 115. even with good bristles and a new belt that sucker really sticks to the floor. i love the convertibles too, quiet and easy to push very nice to maneuver and they groom well. damn it, now I regret getting rid of my u4119 and my 1020 convertibles

Congratulations on such a wonderful find of such a rare cleaner in such good condition and at a bargain price too, which just puts the cherry on the cake. These old girls just go on and on and I wish you many happy years cleaning with it. If you should want too, it not to difficult to modify even an original shake out bag to take a paper bag too.

That is one thing I'd want to do if it were me - add the provision for a paper bag as shake out ones are too messy for me.
