The #1525 brush roll actually began use in the model 513, and continued up through to the Dual Sanitronic 80. Before that, the brush roll was part #1482. The 513 was also the first Kirby to use the step-type foot switch rather than the toggle switch that was also mounted on the same side of the motor facing your left foot (on the same side of the vacuum where the toe-touch height adjuster is), and in the middle of production, the first to use the 4.0 amp motor. ~Ben |
