Is this vacuuum the same as the Blue Line S675? This one seems much cheaper, but I don't want to buy a lower quality vacuum.

I bought one.......

I only bought it because it had the 2 speed step down switch and motor. I had a vacuum dealer take the motor and step down switch out and put in my Eureka Model 250. I like the step down motor. It gives me a new motor with the ability to still have two speeds. I have been thinking of buying one to keep. It uses the ST bag set up, no headlight, and instead of chome hood, it has a metal hood made from a light weight metal, but looks good on the machine. I like the Red and Black combination. That is a good price from Think Vacuums. That is where I bought mine. I let the vacuum shop keep the original one without the switch and motor of course and he did the work for free.

Sincerely,

Thanks for the help. I agree that the red and black look nice.

Ian,

Your SC889 was actually similar to the S650. I'd wish to find either one of these as a type A or B cleaner (from before 1990).
