I found this all metal Eureka today at the Goodwill $4.99. In fairly decent shape, the requisite scrapes on the front corners. Vibra groomer. The bag says UPRIGHT Multi-Filter. It's sort of a cloth material, not the vinyl. Anyone seen this bag before?

nice vacuum. i had one almost identical to that. this cleaner is from Eurekas finest hour, after the introduction of the ball-bearing Vibra-Groomer, and before the introduction of the hideous 1400 motors and plastic handles.

in the early/mid 1980s, Eureka offered a replacement outer bag that had a similar blue stripe graphic. instead of "upright" it said Eureka. maybe thats a DVC bag?

Me thinks you're right David. The bag is too plain and utilitarian looking, it probably had the shiny vinyl gold bag originally.

Bag

Pete, that sure does look like an aftermarket bag. That model Eureka had a gold square top bag. I think i have an extra some where. I will have to look for it if you are interested.
